If you’re looking for a quick and enjoyable read with a sassy heroine and an alpha hero, this is the book for you.
Ties that Bind is the first instalment of L. Wilder‘s new MC series and is the story of Zander A.K.A ‘Hawk’ and Delilah, who meet after Delilah is caught in the middle of her brother’s mess with the group.
Assigned to watch her, Hawk is immediately struck by her beauty and fierceness and it’s only a matter of time before things get heated between them and move quickly from just hooking up to something more.
But trouble is around the corner for the Ruthless Sinners and Hawk and Delilah’s romance gets caught up in it. Will they be able to survive it?!
I loved Hawk. He was assertive, strong and above all loyal. Belonging to the Ruthless Sinners MC, he would take a bullet for any of his brother (and they’d do the same for him) and really cherished the brotherhood. He also cherished Delilah, which made me love him even more. He really balanced both relationships very well, never having to choose between them.
He was also such an ALPHA. The minute he saw Delilah, he knew she was the one and went after her.
Delilah was a fierce heroine. She was strong, loyal, loving and protective of the people she loved. She was not afraid to ask questions and never failed to put Hawk in his place when he gave her trouble. She may have been a bit too forgiving at times, but she always did what she felt was right.
Overall, it was a good read. There was enough drama to keep the book interesting without being too overwhelming. I’m excited for the other books in this series.
