Bowed- a surprising conclusion to a very sexy series

BLURB

Rome

We never play by the rules. In life, in music, or in bed. Rules are for those who give a f#ck what

other people think. The only opinions we care about are our own.

We love each other like brothers, only closer. We’re each other’s biggest support and greatest

rival, and we give each other everything. In life, in music, and in bed.

We’re the family we chose, not the one we were born with. Our bond is stronger than blood.

No woman has ever been a source of strain on our relationship.

Until we meet Quincy.

With her, something feels different.

We’re different.

She’s the piece of the puzzle we never even realized was missing.

But the friction she causes between us is like nothing we’ve ever felt toward each other, and

it’s threatening to tear us apart.

I had her first. She wants him more. Why do I need to make her mine?

REVIEW

Never have I been so surprised about the ending of a series. Honestly, if you told me this book would end they way it did, I wouldn't have believed you. Not that the ending was horrible, it was just very unexpected is all.

Bowed is book two in the Classical Bad Boys duet and picks up where book one -Plucked- left off, so you need to read that before picking this one up. You can find my review of Plucked here.

King and Quincy are still in a relationship- much to Rome's dismay- and going strong. At first, Rome has no other choice than to suck it up and deal with not getting the girl, but when King has to go away for a family emergency, Quincy and Rome spend more time together and it becomes even harder for both of them to deny the connection they share. It's so palpable, even King can feel it. And as much as Quincy doesn't want to cause any problems, she has to make a choice about who she wants to be with. So, who will choose? because she can't possibly have her cake and eat it- or can she?

This was an incredibly sensual book. The chemistry between these characters was so raw, it bordered on unrealistic. I doubt I've read anything as intense as this before. Honestly, it was wild.

Both Rome and King remained polar opposites of each other. King, the charming golden boy, and Rome the embodiment of a true 'bad boy'. Both men were still sinfully talented with instruments -and in bed- and crazy in love with Quincy. They brought different things to the table, yes, but at the core they were both complete goners for her.

Quincy was still her kick-ass self in this book. She was able to handle the boys when their ego's or temper's became a nuisance. Honestly, its not hard to see why they were obsessed with her. She was equally as talented as them both and had such a kind heart.

The whole love-triangle thing going on was even more complicated in this book, but don't worry, it does have a HEA and no one's heart was broken beyond repair. This was a very satisfying conclusion to their story.

Happy Reading!
